Tape Switch, Tape Sensor - TOKYO SENSOR

A tape switch works as a normally open momentary contact switch. Simple mechanism, and more available any length by your specification.

The load applied to the center bead makes down the upper electrode.

The upper electrode comes down and contacts with the lower electrode. Consequently this tape switch turns "ON".

No load to the upper electrode causes it to be returned to the normal position. Then both electrodes detach. So the tape switch turns “OFF”.
